Located in the “Bench” region between the escarpment and Lake Ontario, this community offers a warm small town atmosphere. 

On the wine route, you will find a variety of heritage homes in this well established community, as well as some newer developments and country properties.

Beamsville boasts some of the region’s finest wineries, and fine dining opportunities along with them. 

Red Stone Winery has a wonderful restaurant and also hosts live music many weekends during the warmer months. Stop in for some delicious wine and cheese at Malivoire winery, where “The Cheese Guys” have a truck most weekends. 

Take in an amazing view of the whole bench region from Megalomaniac Winery while sipping a delicious chardonnay. 

Downtown Beamsville often hosts many events, including a Farmers Market. Pick up some footwear at Brand Name Shoes, choose a new bicycle at County Cycle, or shop for ladies fashion and fine furniture at Eve’s Leaves.

Indoor Recreational Activities

If you’re looking for a place to skate or play hockey, check out Fleming Memorial Arena in Beamsville!

 There is also a community library at the Fleming Centre for book lovers and children’s programming. Check out Ridgeview Garden Centre for their year round farmers market and beautiful plants and garden supplies. 

The BEST activity is of course following the wine route and stopping and tasting and shopping at the many wineries in this area, or somewhere like Dillon’s Small Batch Distiller if you want to try something different! 

Outdoor Parks and Recreational Activities

If you are looking for a dip, the Allan F. Gretsinger Community pool is the place to go for recreational swimming, aquatics classes and lane swimming. 

Enjoy hiking and birdwatching at Mountainview Conservation Area. Looking for somewhere to take your dog family member, then head over to Kinsmen Park, Beamsville to enjoy a leash free adventure at the dog park! 


Beamsville is home to the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic School Board

There are three public elementary schools and one catholic and one public secondary school, with a new public secondary school slated for completion in 2021. 

Post Secondary education is a short drive away from Beamsville/Lincoln, with McMaster University and Mohawk College about a half hour drive towards Toronto, and Brock University and Niagara College about a twenty minute drive towards Niagara Falls.
